1. The Zero-Tracking Commitment (Local-First Design)

Whiiteroom is built to enforce extreme focus, which requires restricting access to distracting applications and web resources. To maintain our users' absolute privacy:

Local Enforcement:All application-blocking mechanics, blacklist/whitelist parameters, and lock configurations are computed and executed entirely locally on your machine or mobile device. No list of whitelisted or blacklisted applications/sites is ever sent to our servers.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum required information necessary to manage user credentials, process payment transactions, and handle customer support.

A. Account Information

To access premium features across your devices, you must register for an account. We store:

  • Your registered email address.
  • A secure, encrypted, salted cryptographic hash of your account password (facilitated by Supabase).

B. Billing & Transaction Details

We do not store or process payment card numbers or UPI credentials. Payments are processed securely via:

  • Lemon Squeezy: Operates as the Merchant of Record for global international transactions.
  • Razorpay: Handles domestic Indian payments (UPI, Cards, NetBanking).

These gateways transmit only a secure billing token, transaction state, and payment reference ID.

C. Voluntarily Submitted Support

If you contact us for customer support or request features, we collect:

  • Your email address and name.
  • The contents of your correspondence, including log files or screenshots you provide voluntarily.

3. Analytics & Cookies

We use cookies and browser localStorage parameters on our Website solely to keep you logged in to your account, manage your theme state (Day/Night modes), and preserve active session tokens.

We may collect basic, anonymous website usage analytics to help monitor overall traffic and improve user experience, but we do not track your personal activities or identity.

4. Data Location & Transfers

Your account authentication details and subscription parameters are processed through Supabase, Lemon Squeezy, and Razorpay. As a result, your data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in secure data centers located outside of your home country (including the United States and Europe). By using our Service, you consent to this transfer and storage.

5. Data Retention and Storage

  • Account Details: Retained for the duration of your active account. If you request account deletion, all credentials, authentication details, and associated licenses will be permanently deleted from our database tables within 30 days.
  • Transaction Records: Financial records, invoice parameters, and tax history receipts may be retained for longer periods if legally required for accounting or regulatory compliance audits by Lemon Squeezy, Razorpay, or tax authorities.

6. GDPR & CCPA Privacy Rights (User Data Control)

Depending on your location, you may have specific data protection rights under regulations like the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). These include:

The Right to Access & Portability:You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you or request to export your basic account details to another service.
The Right to Rectification & Erasure:You can request corrections to inaccurate registration info, or request that we permanently wipe your account and all associated personal data.

7. Children's Privacy

Whiiteroom is a productivity utility and does not intentionally gather personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and realize that your child has provided us with personal information, please reach out so we can delete their details from our records immediately.

We employ robust industry standards, including SSL/TLS transfer encryptions, firewalls, and Supabase security protocols, to safeguard your data. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
